Hashtag suggestions that match the post you're writing

Updated: July 2026

ReelDrop suggests hashtags inside the composer while you write, based on the post in front of you rather than a saved list you made in January. Keep the tags that fit, cut the rest, and schedule. Dynamic hashtag suggestions are included in the Creator plan.

Compose the post first

Hashtags depend on what the post is, so they come last. Upload your media and write the caption, then open the hashtag field in the composer.

Review the suggestions

ReelDrop suggests tags for the post you're working on. Remove the ones that don't fit and add any of your own. The final set is yours, and it publishes with the post through the official API.

Retiring the copy-paste hashtag block

A ceramics studio used to paste the same 25 tags under every post, whether it was a glaze video or a kiln disaster. With per-post suggestions, the kiln post gets kiln tags. A small change, but the tags finally describe the posts they sit under.

Frequently asked questions

Which plan includes hashtag suggestions?

Dynamic hashtag suggestions are a paid feature, included in the Creator plan. The free Starter tier doesn't include them, though you can always add hashtags manually.

How many hashtags should I use?

There's no magic number, and advice online swings between 3 and 30. Our free hashtag density checker flags when a caption is drowning in tags, which is the more common problem.

Are the suggestions the same for every post?

No. They are generated for the specific post you're composing. A static list treats every post as the same post.

Is there a free way to research hashtags with ReelDrop?

Yes. The free niche hashtag finder gives you a mix of small, mid, and large tags for your niche, no account needed.

ReelDrop handles scheduling, AI carousels, captions, and DM automation in one place. The Creator waitlist is open now.
