Creator campaign terms

1. who we are and what this covers

reeldrop campaigns are run by 10517933 Canada Ltd. (operating as reeldrop.io, “reeldrop”, “we”). these terms apply to every paid campaign listed at reeldrop.io/campaigns and inside the app. by applying you agree to them, our terms of service and our privacy policy. they replace the earlier view-milestone creator rewards program.

campaigns are not sponsored, endorsed or administered by instagram or meta platforms, inc.

2. applying and approval

you need an instagram business or creator account connected to reeldrop and the campaign's minimum followers. a person reviews every application and your first reel in each campaign. we may decline an application or a reel for any reason, and we tell you the reason. you can be in one ugc and one influencer campaign at the same time, never two of the same type.

3. how views are measured

views are the instagram views metric for the reel, read by reeldrop from your own account's insights through the connection you gave us. we store a snapshot at least once a day. the count starts at the moment instagram publishes the reel, not when we approve it, so a slow review never costs you views. screenshots are not a substitute for the connected account's data, though they help in a dispute.

4. the threshold and what a reel earns

a reel earns only if it reaches the campaign's view threshold (10,000 views unless the campaign says otherwise) within 30 days of publishing. once it does, every view up to day 30 counts at the campaign rate (for example $1 per 1,000 views, so the smallest payout for one reel is $10). below the threshold a reel earns nothing. each campaign has a cap per reel, a cap per creator and a maximum number of paid reels, shown on the campaign page. influencer campaigns may add a fixed fee per approved reel.

5. the hold

the view count freezes on day 30. earnings then sit in a 14-day hold. if, at the end of the hold, the reel has been deleted or made private, or its views have dropped more than 20% from the day-30 count, the earnings for that reel are reversed. we may hold a payment up to 30 days in total to verify it.

6. disclosure

every campaign reel must carry the campaign hashtag and the mention shown on the campaign page in its caption, and must follow the advertising disclosure rules where you and your audience live (for example “paid partnership” labelling). a reel without the mention does not earn.

7. fraud and forfeiture

bought, botted or otherwise inflated views, engagement pods, and reels deleted to dodge the hold forfeit the payment for that reel. we score every reel for signs of bought views and review anything that looks wrong; a flagged reel's earnings are frozen until a person decides. confirmed fraud removes you from every campaign and makes the account ineligible for future ones. earnings on your clean reels are still paid.

8. payouts, currency and fees

campaigns are priced in us dollars. payouts go out once a month for every reel whose hold ended in the previous month, by upi, wise, paypal or reeldrop credit, to the details you enter in settings. the minimum payout is $10 per month; smaller amounts carry over. payments in inr use the exchange rate fixed on the day the monthly batch is created, shown to you from that day. fees your payment provider charges on receipt are yours. if you change where money goes within 7 days of a payout we hold that payout until we confirm the change with you.

9. your status and taxes

you take part as an independent contractor, not an employee, agent or partner of reeldrop. you are responsible for any taxes on what you earn. we may ask for tax information before paying larger amounts.

10. content and usage

you keep ownership of your reels. you grant reeldrop a non-exclusive licence to repost and share campaign reels organically with credit to you. paid advertising with your reel needs a separate written agreement.

11. disputes

you can dispute any decision on a reel (a flag, a reversal or its view count) once, from your dashboard, with evidence. a reviewer replies within 7 days. the payout for a disputed reel waits until the dispute is resolved.

12. changes and ending

we may change these terms for future campaigns; the version you accepted applies to the campaign you applied to. a campaign may close at any time: open windows still run to the end and are paid under these terms. questions go to piyush@reeldrop.io.
